Roses and Ruskin?

John Ruskin (1819-1900), Victorian Art Critic of Stones of Venice, Modern Painters–had a love of nature, was an avid water colorist, abhorred the Industrial Revolution and would influence everyone from Pre-Raphaelites William Morris, Frank Lloyd Wright to Le Corbusier. We would like to think at NanEdwardsCollection that he would have enjoyed OOAK items, hand crafted with care and diligence.  Would he have been a DIY devotee? Our artisan crafted Deco Rose Necklace is a glass and enamel repurposed ’30s brooch joining Carnelian (for vitality) dyed green Quartz (for creativity), and Smoky Quartz (for protection) on brass chain and findings.

“All great art is the work of the whole living creature, body and soul, and chiefly of the soul.”(Ruskin)
