Resting on Her Laurels Necklace

In ancient Greece, the victor of athletic or poetry contests was awarded a horseshoe shaped Laurel wreath. During Roman times this was the prize bestowed upon a winning commander. The NEC version, is seductively simple and anything but relying on her past successes.  This pretty includes a WW I repurposed European Laurel leaf medal along Agate (for protection, strength and harmony) on gold filled chain and findings.
