Happy November Everyone! As we turn back our clocks with fall in full swing NEC returns to the 1920s– a time of Flappers, Jazz, Gin, and the opening of King Tut’s tomb. And one can only imagine downtown Chicago in 1925 as the first Sear Roebuck retails store opens its doors with hats and frock and lovely vanity set for the ladies. This NEC repurposed beauty is truly a special find. Hailing from Czechoslovakia she is a 1920s Art Deco repurposed perfume bottle wrapped in gold-filled filigree and decorated with Peking glass, enamel and just a hint of the scent that once graced her owner. She now joins more vintage Czech glass and Jade (blessings for all) on gold-filled chain and findings.
